What we have been up to so far in 2025 - A Little Candle Catch-Up
It’s hard to believe we’re already a few months into 2025 — and what a beautiful, busy start it’s been here at Anna Elizabeth Candles.
One of the biggest changes in the workshop has been our switch to olive wax. After lots of testing and pouring (and re-pouring), we’ve fully embraced this lovely plant-based wax. It’s smooth, clean-burning, and perfectly in line with our gentle, natural values — not to mention a joy to work with.
This wax made its debut in our brand new Wellness Collection — a trio of essential oil candles created to support mood and well-being. Each one is thoughtfully blended and named with intention:
A Little Pot of Calm, A Little Pot of Energy, and A Little Pot of Positivity.
They’re available in both mini and medium-sized pots, whether you’re after a moment of mindfulness on the go or a longer-lasting burn at home.
We also launched something you’ve been asking for — car air freshener refills. A simple, sustainable way to keep your car smelling gorgeous without needing to replace the whole freshener each time.
Another quiet milestone we’re proud of: 300 Etsy sales! A huge thank you to every single person who’s supported us — your kind words, custom requests, and glowing reviews are what keep us going. We’ve had some really heartwarming feedback lately, and it’s a joy to read every message that comes through.
In April, we took part in the Caerphilly Food Festival, and it was such a wonderful day. There’s something special about meeting customers in person and watching people connect with our scents in real-time. We’re taking a bit of a break from markets over the summer (candles and sunshine don’t always mix well!), but we’ll still be creating behind the scenes.
And speaking of behind the scenes — something exciting is nearly ready to bloom! Our garden candle collection is just around the corner. Created for those warm evenings outdoors, they’re made to add a bit of magic to your garden table while gently keeping bugs at bay. We’re so excited to share them with you very soon.
